Licensed Industrial Millwright Mechanic

Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, performing a variety of maintenance services, must be able to work efficiently in resolving urgent issues. Specific duties include (but not limited to):

  • Analyze mechanical problems; provide quick and innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills, diagnosing problems, and carrying out the repairs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance WO on all production equipment’s in an acceptable time frame

What we offer:

  • Salary of 40.95$/hr from day 1, and premium of 0.75 per hour for afternoon shifts and $0.85 per hours for night shifts.

  • Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) – Receive 60 cents per hour worked paid every 3 months. 4 float days per year (year 1 is pro-rated).
  • RSP: Company and employee matching contribution of 4.25% of their pay.
  • 2 weeks per year from years 1 -4 increasing to 3 weeks per year.
  • Tool allowance of 455$/year.
  • Overtime is available based on business needs at a time and a half rate or double time rate as applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum grade 12 High School Diploma with valid Canadian Industrial Millwright License.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working as Industrial Maintenance Millwright in Manufacturing
  • Experience with machining shop tools, Stick Welding and Oxyacetylene torch can be an asset• Able to work 10 :30pm to 07 :00 am pr 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
